An attempt to illegally sell bird of prey was prevented

Employees of the Department of Ecology, environmental protection and climate change of Kashkadarya Region detained a citizen, Sh.M., who was engaged in the illegal sale of a bird of prey through social media.
In order to stop the illegal activity, representatives of the agency contacted the offender under the guise of buyers and agreed on a deal. At the appointed place Sh.M. was detained with physical evidence - at the moment of handing over the bird and receiving the agreed amount of payment.
The bird has been temporarily transferred to the Shakhrisabz city zoo until all circumstances are clarified. Additionally, documents have been sent to the Academy of Sciences to identify the species of the bird. Based on the expert conclusion, the amount of environmental damage will be determined, after which appropriate measures will be taken against the offender.
