Biotechnical measures: approximately 4,000 kg of feed distributed

Since the beginning of 2025, to facilitate the search for food by wild animals during the winter cold, feed products have been distributed in these areas. For example, on January 18, 100 kg of corn grain were distributed in the mountainous area of Koraboksoy of the Akhangaran State Forestry; on January 23, 80 kg of corn grain and mixed bran were laid out in the Gushsay area; on January 30, 100 kg of bran were placed in the mountainous regions of the Lashkarak department; and on February 4, 30 kg of barley, 30 kg of wheat, and 20 kg of dried apples were delivered to the mountainous areas of the Gumkulsay department.
Additionally, on February 1–2, 215 kg of corn, 165 kg of wheat, and 75 kg of salt were distributed in the Pskem section of the Burchmulla State Forestry, part of the Ugam-Chatkal State National Nature Park. On February 6–7, 800 kg of barley, 200 kg of mixed feed, 50 kg of salt, and 500 kg of natural hay were laid out in the Kayinsoy and Arpapoya areas of the Sargardon branch of the Burchmulla State Forestry, as well as in the Suranota and Takalisoy mountain areas of the Beldersay Hunting Reserve, to provide supplementary feeding for wild animals and birds during harsh winter days.
Furthermore, on February 19, 400 kg of hay and 200 kg of barley were distributed in the Govkhona and Kavluksay areas of the Soymazor district of the national nature park. On February 20–21, 500 kg of barley, 60 kg of wheat, 100 kg of bran and 150 kg of salt were laid out in the mountainous regions of Sargardon-Shabrezs and Akbulok-Dovonsay.
In total, during January–February, the Ugam-Chatkal State National Nature Park has distributed 255 kg of wheat, 1,530 kg of barley, 395 kg of corn, 500 kg of bran and mixed feeds, 275 kg of salt and 900 kg of natural hay.
Currently, biotechnical measures continue across all protected natural areas of the republic.
