Over 3,000 violations recorded by surveillance cameras in three regions of Uzbekistan in 2024

The highest number of violations was recorded in Samarkand Region, where 25 surveillance cameras detected 2,948 cases. Administrative action was taken against 219 violators, while 2,729 cases remain under review. In Syrdarya Region, 21 cameras captured 81 violations, for which necessary measures have already been implemented.
In Khorezm Region, 17 cameras identified 108 cases of illegal waste dumping, of which 61 violators have already been subjected to administrative penalties. Measures are currently being determined for the remaining 47 cases.
Nationwide, a total of 250 online cameras have been installed. These cameras not only help detect illegal waste disposal but also record other environmental violations, allowing for prompt enforcement actions.
