Tomorrow, February 26, Tashkent, Nukus and all regional administrative centers across the country will host another "Car-Free Day".
This monthly initiative takes place on the fourth Wednesday of each month in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. 37, issued on February 21, 2024.
On this day, government officials, employees of state organizations and all citizens are encouraged to leave their personal cars at home and instead use public transport, bicycles, or other eco-friendly modes of transportation.
It is important to note that using public transport helps to reduce harmful emissions, ease traffic congestion, and improve the overall environmental situation in cities.
