The exhibition, organized by the Academy of Arts, the Creative Union of Artists, the Tashkent House of Photography, the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, the Tourism Committee, Auto.uz, (https://auto.uz/) and LA KUBA, features 50 paintings and 4 thematic installations that explore the relationship between nature, technology and ecology through art.
"The exhibition is dedicated to addressing pressing environmental issues," said Zarrina Abdullaeva, head of department of the Ministry of Ecology. "It highlights topics such as the annual decline and pollution of drinking water, the harmful effects of waste on the environment, urbanization, the need for renewable energy, the role of technology and artificial intelligence and other key issues. This emphasizes the importance of the exhibition," she added.
The exhibition also includes exhibits that reflect the balance between technology and nature, as well as depictions of pristine nature as the source of life.
"My aim is to bring to people's attention in a more vivid form the problems associated with Mother Nature around us and to encourage them to look for joint solutions. That's why not only the works in the exhibition, but also the installations reflect environmental issues in particular," said Sardor Nugmanov.
It’s important to note that the exhibition encourages people to pay closer attention to nature. The focus is on issues such as the potential water shortage the world may face by 2050, the growing impact of technology on the environment and the escalating ecological crisis.
The exhibition will run until February 23.
