According to the law, the Administrative Code has been supplemented with Article 92(1), which states that the keeping of wild animals prohibited for private individuals to keep in semi-wild conditions, artificially created habitats, or captivity will result in a fine of 5 to 10 BCV (1 million 875 thousand sums to 3 million 750 thousand sums), along with the confiscation of these animals.
A similar offense causing harm to human health or the property of legal entities or individuals, in the absence of evidence of a crime, is punishable by a fine of 30 to 50 BCV (11 million 250 thousand sums to 18 million 750 thousand sums) with confiscation of the animals.
In addition, under Article 110 of the Administrative Code, violations of the rules governing the keeping of animals in cities and other populated areas, or failure by officials to take measures to capture and care for ownerless animals, are punishable by a fine of 3 to 5 BCV (1 million 125 thousand sums to 1 million 875 thousand sums) for individuals and 5 to 10 BCV (1 million 875 thousand sums to 3 million 750 thousand sums) for officials.
The same violation, causing harm to human health or the property of legal or physical entities, without criminal intent, will result in a fine for individuals ranging from 10 to 15 BCV (3 million 750 thousand sums to 5 million 625 thousand sums), and for officials, a fine ranging from 15 to 30 BCV (5 million 625 thousand sums to 11 million 250 thousand sums).
