Illegal hunters identified in the border area

Three individuals engaged in illegal hunting were detained by from the 9209th military unit employees of the Border Troops of the State Security Service in the Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region. The case was investigated by the Bostanlyk District Department of the Tashkent Regional Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change, in collaboration with law enforcement agencies.

The investigation confirmed that three individuals had engaged in illegal hunting in the border area near the "Kichiksoy" mahalla of Bostanlyk district. Their actions violated the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specifically the Law "On Hunting and Hunting Economy",  the Law "On the State Border", and the Regulation on the Border Regime in the Territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

During the inquiry, authorities confiscated two hunting rifles and parts of a wild boar carcass from the violators. The illegal hunting activities caused environmental damage estimated at over 11 million sums.

The collected evidence was submitted to the Bostanlyk District Criminal Court for legal evaluation. The hunting weapons have been handed over to the Bostanlyk District Department of Internal Affairs.
