The event was attended by employees of the Ministry, representatives of the Academy of the Armed Forces, and the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan.
At the event, it was noted that the appearance and potential of the national army have fundamentally changed as a result of large-scale reforms carried out in recent years under the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
"Our Armed Forces have improved organizationally and structurally. The mobility of structures, combat capability, and the physical, spiritual, and pedagogical training of military personnel have increased. The formations and units are equipped with modern weapons and military equipment," said Matnazar Elmurodov, Advisor to the Minister of Ecology. "Additionally, at the initiative of the President, the Academy of the Armed Forces was reformed, creating a solid foundation for its future transformation into a leader in the field of military science. Now, the main focus is on the introduction of new approaches and teaching methods in higher military educational institutions", he added.
During the event, attention was also drawn to the fact that the current military-political situation in the world and the region requires a comprehensive increase in the potential of the Armed Forces of the Republic and an enhancement in the readiness of all state bodies to address tasks related to the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations.
"Thanks to the independence of our Motherland, today the population lives in peace and harmony. Our country has its own strong army, and the defenders of the Motherland serve on the borders, ensuring the well-being of the country. Protecting the well-being of our compatriots is our main responsibility, and we are always ready for this", said Adham Nurillaev, Senior Lecturer at the Academy of the Armed Forces.
It was also noted that peace in the country is of great importance for environmental protection and finding positive solutions to urgent environmental issues. Zamira Ruzieva, a representative of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, also recited poems dedicated to the defenders of the Motherland.
