Trees were cut down in the forestry of Kashkadarya region

During one of the raids in the "Duob" area of the Dekhkanabad State Forestry, an incident involving the illegal felling of six juniper trees was identified. The damage caused to nature was estimated at 41.4 million sums.
In response, a protocol was drawn up against R.B., an official of the "Duob" forestry, in accordance with Article 79, Part 4 of the Code on Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The violation pertained to the failure to take legally mandated measures to protect and preserve trees on territories owned or assigned to legal entities. R.B. was fined 10 BCV, amounting to 3.75 million sums.
Additionally, documents have been submitted to the Dekhkanabad District Department of Internal Affairs to identify the remaining individuals responsible.
Appropriate measures will be taken against the offenders in accordance with the procedures established by law, and further information will be provided as the situation develops.
