During the campaign, cleanup activities were organized to ensure cleanliness in mahallas, prevent the accumulation of garbage during festive events, and enforce timely garbage collection. Additionally, 124 sanitary and technical enterprises carried out work in 800,263 public spaces, neighborhoods (mahallas), and central streets.
During the "10 Days of Action" campaign, a total of 135,200 tons of garbage were cleared from the territory of the republic.
For reference: The Ministry of Ecology regularly organizes such initiatives. On September 20, 2024, in honor of World Cleanup Day, a mass cleanup campaign titled "Make a Place for Life" was conducted across all regions, resulting in the collection of 36.5 tons of garbage. Similarly, during plogging events held on International Day for a International Day of Zero Waste, 228.1 tons of garbage were collected nationwide.
Such events play a vital role in maintaining environmental cleanliness and fostering greater public responsibility toward nature.
