For information: "Yukori Tupalang" National Nature Park was established on March 4, 2022, in the Sariosiyo district of the Surkhandarya region. The territory is home to representatives of 46 species of fauna, 20 of which are listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan.

A Tien-Shan Brown Bear is listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan and the Red List of the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Cubs mature three years after birth, with an average life expectancy of 30-50 years. They hibernate from October to April, depending on the weather.

According to the results of the autumn census, the number of brown bears in the "Yukori Tupalang" National Nature Park is 25 individuals.
