A training seminar on the development of tourism in harmony with nature has started

The seminar was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Abdulla Aripov. The event was also attended by the Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tanzila Narbaeva, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gofurjon Mirzaev, Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov, employees of the Ministry of Ecology and the Committee on Tourism, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan Adham Bekmuradov and media representatives.
The educational seminar reviewed best practices in the conservation of biodiversity, the activities of protected natural areas (PNA), the development of ecotourism, and the organization of modern recreation centers, as well as a number of presentations on the topic and provided the necessary recommendations. During the seminar, issues of modernization of the tourist infrastructure and the introduction of new modern services were discussed.
Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov, in accordance with the instructions given by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to the "Chorvoq Darvoza" and "Ugam River" tourist complexes in the Bostanlyk district of the Tashkent region, held a presentation for sector leaders and discussed possible work in this direction in various regions. At the same time, special attention was paid to a modern recreation center under construction in the Bostanly district, consisting of environmentally oriented facilities—capsule houses. The heads of the sectors also spoke about the planned work in the regions carried out in this direction.
Chairman of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev spoke about the priorities set by the head of state, including the development of tourist infrastructure, the organization of recreation areas, as well as measures taken to solve existing problems in the field. Information was also provided on subsidies allocated for accommodation facilities and modular hotels. It was noted that subsidies are an important part of government policy aimed at developing the tourism sector and contribute to improving the infrastructure of the industry and attracting new investments in the sphere.
In addition, the seminar discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors and new trends in the development of tourism infrastructure. The importance of developing comprehensive measures to ensure the sustainable development of tourism, taking into account environmental, economic, and social aspects, was emphasized.
Within the framework of the event, participants will also visit the facilities of the Bostanlyk district to get acquainted with the tourist opportunities of the Tashkent region.
It should be noted that the results of the seminar will serve to strengthen the competitiveness of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan in the international arena and further develop such areas as ecotourism, ethnotourism, and extreme tourism, as well as create new jobs for the local population.
