National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event, organized jointly with the Agency for Waste Management and Development of the Circular Economy, was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology Jusipbek Kazbekov, deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, industry representatives, employees of the central office of the Ministry, and system organizations.

The National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan was played at the beginning of the event. Opening the event, Jusipbek Kazbekov spoke about the state symbols that form a sense of patriotism. It was also noted that the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan in a new version has identified priority areas for further development of the country.

In addition, members of the environmental party faction in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Navruzbek Yusupov and Bakhtiyor Pulatov, spoke about the constitutional foundations of environmental protection, ensuring the environmental rights of citizens by the state, and conditions of public control in the urban planning sphere in order to prevent harmful effects on the environment.

During the event, videos were shown aimed at raising awareness among employees about the new version of the Constitution.

In addition, it was noted that the National Anthem of the Republic of Uzbekistan celebrates the rich heritage of the country, national traditions and values, and universal feelings such as peace, tranquility, interethnic harmony, and brotherhood.

For information: in the new version of the Constitution, according to the relevant articles, everyone has the right to a favorable environment and reliable information about its condition, and every citizen is obliged to take care of nature. In addition, the state, in order to ensure the environmental rights of citizens and prevent harmful effects on the environment, creates conditions for public control in the field of urban planning.
