It was attended by entrepreneurs involved in the activities of greenhouses, heads of responsible enterprises and organizations, chairmen of mahallas, and activists.
At the meeting, entrepreneurs were given explanations about the need to carry out activities to install a filter in a greenhouse. They were also warned that in case of release of harmful gases into the atmospheric air and environmental pollution during operation of the greenhouse, legal measures will be taken.
For information: a study was conducted on the territory of the Tashkent region in order to reduce the level of atmospheric air pollution and identify the causes of exceeding the established emission standards of polluting gases, protect public health, identify cases of illegal use of energy resources, and analyze and take measures against those responsible.
During the study on air pollution with the help of a mobile laboratory, analyses were carried out at 9 points along the Tashkent Ring Road bordering the city of Tashkent and the Tashkent region, from the territory of the settlement "Eshonguzar" to the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute, and excess levels of pollutants were detected.
During the monitoring conducted by the State Environmental Supervision Inspectorate, it was found that there are 38 greenhouses in the territory with an increased level of air pollution, which are mainly located on the territory of the mahallas of Hasanboy Guzari, Avliyota, Darkhan, Sabzavot, Tutzor, Ikbol, Fayzabad, Kirarik, Karasaray, and Chigatay of the Tashkent district.
In connection with the current situation, the working group on the spot examined the greenhouses available on the territory and carried out preventive measures to prevent the use of tires, cellophane, bird droppings, and other harmful smoke-forming substances for heating greenhouses, as well as to install dust and gas cleaning equipment (filters) on greenhouse hoods that meet the requirements of state standards.
In particular, as of November 10-14 of this year, the working group examined 38 greenhouses on site (with a total area of 25 hectares), of which 29 (with a total area of 19 hectares) are functioning and 9 are suspended. It turned out that cucumbers and tomatoes are grown in 17 greenhouses, flowers in 9, greens in 2, and lemons in 1, of which coal is used for heating 26 greenhouses and natural gas for heating 3 greenhouses. At the same time, only 6 greenhouses have environmental expert opinions, and 7 have filters installed.
During the study, the working group fined a total of 3 greenhouse managers for violating the rules for using a hood in a greenhouse, lawsuits were filed against 9 owners in economic courts to terminate their activities; and 29 managers of operating greenhouses were warned about legal liability in case of failure to install dust and gas cleaning equipment that meets the requirements of the state standard.
These studies will also be conducted in Zangiata, Kibray, and Yangiyul districts.
