A fine of more than 11 million sums was imposed for illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture

Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Namangan region held another control raid event.
During the raid, the fact of illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture by a citizen K.F. from the riverbed of the Syrdarya River flowing in the Namangan region was established.
According to this fact, an administrative protocol has been drawn up against the violator in accordance with Part 1 of the Note 1 of Article 70 of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility, and a fine of 30 BCV—11 million 250 thousand sums was imposed.
For information: raids are regularly carried out throughout the republic to combat illegal mining of sand and gravel products. Such violations entail strict liability under the law.
