Violators who burned fields freed from rice were fined in Syrdarya region

In particular, as a result of the control measures carried out to date, administrative protocols were drawn up for 23 farms that burned land plots freed from rice on the territory of the Association of Water Users of the Sholikor Syrdarya district under the relevant articles of the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Responsibility. Farms were fined in the amount of 25 million 875 thousand sums.
Violators are ordered to pay compensation for damage caused to nature (19 million 190 thousand sums) and a fine, which in total amounts to 45 million 65 thousand sums.
Today, the Ministry of Ecology and its regional divisions conduct regular raids to prevent the burning of plant residues in fields and settlements. In this regard, any violation entails liability in accordance with the law.
