During the operation, officers uncovered illegal sand and gravel extraction on the right bank of the Chirchiq River, which flows through the "Nurafshon" mahalla. The extracted material was being transported to a nearby stone-crushing facility.

It was also found that some of the pits left behind by the extraction activities were being filled with construction waste and then covered with soil.

Following the inspection, written statements were obtained from the vehicle drivers, official reports were drawn up, and the vehicles were taken to an impound lot.

Specialists also carried out measurements to establish the exact volume of sand and gravel extracted illegally. Once the assessment has been completed, the relevant documents will be forwarded to the law enforcement authorities for legal review and appropriate action.
