To date, a total of 722 facilities have been inspected, including 602 greenhouses, 56 industrial and manufacturing enterprises, 26 construction sites and 38 other facilities. A total of 516 administrative fines have been imposed for identified violations, amounting to UZS 286 million. In addition, the operations of three facilities, including two greenhouses and one construction site, have been suspended.
Inspections of greenhouse facilities revealed cases of coal burning without properly functioning filtration systems, as well as the burning of plant residues. In particular, it was established that coal was being burned using faulty filters at the E. and M.I.A. enterprises in Tashkent District, while a greenhouse belonging to citizen M. M. was burning coal without any filtration equipment. The operation of the latter facility has been suspended. Measures were also taken in response to violations of environmental requirements identified in the Mirzo Ulugbek and Sergeli districts.
All greenhouse owners were informed of the requirements set out in Resolution No. 586 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated 22 October 2026. Following the inspections, formal compliance notices requiring corrective action were issued.
Inspections of construction sites resulted in compensation payments being assessed at a total of 9 billion 96 million sums. Furthermore, at the N.H.P. construction site, inspectors found that no dust suppression or wheel-washing equipment had been installed. They also identified the improper storage of 87,289 cubic metres of soil. An administrative fine was imposed on B. S. LLC for failing to take measures to prevent dust emissions.
Raids and inspections are currently continuing around the clock, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
