As part of these efforts, officers from the Tashkent Region Department of Ecology, together with the Eco-Police, conducted another nighttime raid. During the inspection in Tashkent District, they identified a greenhouse burning coal in violation of environmental regulations, resulting in air pollution. Appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the law and the violation was rectified.
For reference: On 23–24 October, inspections were carried out at 46 greenhouses in Tashkent Region and 16 in the city of Tashkent. During the inspections, one greenhouse in the "Hasanboy" mahalla was found to be burning coal without dust and gas purification equipment. The offender was fined and the operation of the greenhouse was suspended.
Raids to prevent environmental violations and improve air quality are ongoing.
