The collection includes a number of internationally recognised publications, including "General Ecology: Outline of Contemporary Ecology for University Students", "The Forest and the City", "Discovering Biodiversity", "The Youth Guide to Biodiversity" and the Green Technology Book, as well as research publications on urban forest planning and management.
The donated materials cover a range of environmental topics from both scientific and practical perspectives, including ecosystem functioning, biodiversity conservation, the development of green spaces in urban areas, urban forest management, climate change adaptation and environmental technologies.
Professor Bakhtiyor Pulatov, Rector of Green University, highlighted the importance of the initiative for the university.
“Expanding the university library’s collection with up-to-date publications on ecology and climate change creates new opportunities for students and researchers. Access to international sources will allow young people to learn from global experience and scientific approaches while deepening their independent research. Initiatives like this help strengthen the links between education, science and practice,” the Rector said.
The donated publications will provide additional resources for use in classes, academic research, independent study and research projects.
