Unauthorized livestock grazing detected in a forest management area

Officers of the Environmental Police under the Dehkanabad District Department of the Main Department on Ecology and Climate Change of Kashkadarya Region conducted an inspection of livestock grazing practices across six divisions of the Dehkanabad State Forestry.
The inspection found that 4,137 head of cattle and small ruminants were being grazed on forest fund lands without the required permits.
In accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 290, the amount of environmental damage caused was calculated in connection with the violation. The collected materials have been submitted to the Dehkanabad District Prosecutor’s Office for legal assessment.
