At the meeting, the Minister stressed the strong friendship between President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, quoting the words of the President of the People's Republic of China that "We need green mountains and emerald waters. They are needed even more than mountains of gold and silver, because they are our wealth".
A. Abdukhakimov also spoke about his visit to China and said that he was surprised by the technologies of incinerators and intends to adopt the Chinese experience in our country. At the same time, attention was paid to the construction of incinerators in the Ferghana and Namangan regions. It was noted that the Chinese side supports the early start of this project, and in the near future a group of engineers will be sent from China to explore the territories.
For information: within the framework of the project, it is planned to build incinerators first in the Ferghana and Namangan regions, and then in other regions of our republic.
During the meeting, issues of accelerating work in the field of solid waste recycling through incineration and electricity generation were also discussed.
