“World Cleanup Day”: Join the Nationwide Plogging Eco-Action

On September 19 at 11:00 a.m., the Agency for Waste Management and Circular Economy Development under the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Climate Change will organize a nationwide plogging eco-action titled “Make Room for Life!” in all regions of Uzbekistan.
The eco-action is being held as part of “World Cleanup Day 2026” and aims to bring together members of the public, media representatives, government agencies, and private-sector businesses to clean up the environment and promote a culture of responsible waste management.
The eco-action will take place at the following locations across the country:
1. Republic of Karakalpakstan — Nukus City, along the Dostlik Canal, “Xalqlar Do‘stligi” Mahalla;
2. Andijan Region — Andijan District, Babur City, Yangi Andijan residential area;
3. Bukhara Region — Samani Park, “Havzi Nav” Mahalla;
4. Jizzakh Region — Sharof Rashidov District, “G‘ozg‘ontepa” Mahalla, at the beginning of the M-39 highway in the Jizzakh–Dashtobod direction;
5. Kashkadarya Region — Kokdala District, Qo‘ng‘irot mountain area;
6. Navoi Region — Navoi City, Alisher Navoi Culture and Recreation Park, “Humo” Mahalla;
7. Namangan Region — Namangan City, Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur Culture and Recreation Park;
8. Samarkand Region — Samarkand City, Tashkent Street, “Afrosiyob” Mahalla;
9. Syrdarya Region — Gulistan City, “Bo‘ston” Mahalla;
10. Surkhandarya Region — Termez City, “Amu-sohil” Recreation Area, “Guliston” Mahalla;
11. Tashkent Region — Bostanliq District, “Chimgan” Mahalla;
12. Tashkent City — Yakkasaray District, “Yunus Rajabiy” Mahalla, Sharshara Street;
13. Fergana Region — Fergana City, 3 Sakkokiy Street, “Yangiariq” Mahalla;
14. Khorezm Region — Urgench City, Pahlavon Mahmud Street, “Navbahor” Mahalla.
