The resolution sets out the key tasks of the technical college. In particular, the “Green” Technical College in Navoi Region will cooperate with international organizations in training qualified mid-level professionals, taking into account labour market needs and the requirements of the “green” economy, as well as in developing “green skills” among students. Its responsibilities also include developing students’ skills in energy efficiency, the efficient use of resources, waste management and environmental awareness; incorporating topics related to “green skills” into educational programmes; and establishing dual education programmes for the training of mid-level professionals in cooperation with enterprises and organizations that have adopted “green” technologies.

In addition, the key tasks of the “Green” Technical College include engaging practising specialists from relevant sectors, enterprises and organizations, faculty members from higher education institutions and qualified international experts in the training process; establishing joint educational programmes in cooperation with reputable foreign educational institutions; creating the necessary material, technical, educational and methodological facilities for training specialists at the relevant levels of vocational education; and continuously engaging practising specialists with extensive professional experience in the educational process.

Under the resolution, graduates of general secondary education institutions will be admitted to the technical college in accordance with the established procedure, with places available both on a state-funded basis and on a fee-paying, contract basis. The educational process will be organized based on programmes of primary, secondary and specialized secondary vocational education. In addition to the main educational programmes, short-term courses will also be offered to develop additional competencies, award qualifications and provide foreign-language training.
