For improper care of seedlings in the Syrdarya region, officials were fined more than 700 million sums

The Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Syrdarya region conducts regular raid activities to monitor the condition of seedlings planted within the framework of the national project "Yashil Makon" ("Green Space").
During the raids in 8 months of this year, measures were taken against 267 officials. At the same time, some seedlings planted in the fall of 2023 and in the spring of 2024 withered due to the fact that agrotechnical work on their care was not performed and the irrigation system was not established.
In connection with these cases, administrative protocols have been drawn up against officials in accordance with Part 3 of Articles 79 and 95 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Fines in the amount of 730 million 150 thousand sums were imposed on officials.
