National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event will feature "Fieldworks", a project developed from materials collected by the artist in different parts of the world over the past 25 years. In real time, moving images, field recordings and environmental sounds will converge to create an ever-evolving sensory cartography of landscapes and ecosystems.

The performance explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world, engaging with pressing environmental challenges and processes, including desertification, climate change and ecosystem transformation.

The event is organised by ARTepa Gallery at Green University in collaboration with Art Station and the DAVRA research collective, with the support of the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), within the framework of the Central Asia Arts and Culture Programme (CAACP) and the project Art Station: A Crossroads for Freedom of Expression, Artistic Creativity, Inclusive Dialogue and Community Development.
