Tashkent Thermal Power Plant reviewed for readiness for the autumn–winter season

Particular attention was paid to the performance of the plant’s dust and gas cleaning equipment. The working group reviewed the technical condition of the existing filtration system, its operational efficiency and the maintenance activities currently being carried out. The group also examined the progress of construction and installation work on new filtration equipment for Units 9 and 10.
The meeting also addressed the further modernisation of the plant’s dust and gas cleaning systems. The need for the systematic upgrading of existing equipment and the introduction of modern technologies aimed at improving treatment efficiency and reducing adverse impacts on ambient air quality was emphasised.
Representatives of the working group also familiarised themselves with the measures being implemented by the plant to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and prevent potential environmental risks during the autumn–winter period.
Following the preventive assessment, relevant recommendations were provided to the responsible specialists. Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring the reliable operation of existing treatment systems, the timely maintenance of equipment and the continued implementation of planned modernisation measures.
Such preventive assessments are aimed at strengthening the environmental safety of industrial facilities and identifying and mitigating potential risks ahead of the autumn–winter season.
