More than 2000 violations related to illegal dumping of garbage have been committed in Tashkent this year

District inspectors of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of Tashkent regularly carry out control measures to prevent waste dumping in the wrong places.
In particular, this year, the Department has now revealed a total of 2,226 violations of the law in the capital. Of these, 2201 were committed by individuals, and 25 by legal entities.
Protocols for violations have been drawn up under the relevant articles of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. Fines totaling 994 million 650 thousand sums have been imposed on violators.
In addition, explanatory work is being carried out with citizens on the prohibition of dumping garbage in the wrong places, since waste does not decompose for a long time and harms the environment, which is responsible by the law.
