The main objectives of the campaign are to strengthen sanitation efforts in populated areas, further improve the waste management system, raise environmental awareness among the public, and create a cleaner and healthier environment.
In accordance with the approved action plan, the Waste Management and Circular Economy Development Agency under the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change, together with its regional departments, the Tashkent City Directorate, and the State Institution "Waste Landfill Management Directorate," has organized a wide range of practical activities focused on beautification, territory clean-up, and maintaining sanitary order.
To ensure effective coordination, dedicated operational headquarters have been established within the Agency, its regional offices, and subordinate organizations. Responsible officials have been assigned to each regional department, duty schedules have been introduced, and daily monitoring of implementation is being carried out.
For reference: The campaign is being conducted in accordance with Presidential Resolution No. PP-120 of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated April 1, 2026.
Under the established procedure, information on the activities carried out is submitted to the Agency on a daily basis and consolidated at the national level. This enables continuous monitoring of the campaign's progress and timely coordination of sanitation and cleaning activities across all regions of the country.
The National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change calls on all government institutions, enterprises, organizations, business representatives, and citizens to actively participate in the "Relevant 40 Days" campaign by contributing to the beautification of communities, maintaining cleanliness, and protecting the environment. Only through joint efforts can we make our country cleaner, greener, and more comfortable for everyone.
