According to reports, during a routine patrol, rangers of the Surkhan State Nature Reserve discovered three armed individuals carrying hunting weapons in the "Sherjon" section of the reserve. Despite repeated orders to stop, the suspects refused to comply, opened fire at the reserve personnel, and then fled the scene, abandoning their backpacks. During an inspection of the backpacks, the carcasses of two butchered wild animals were found.

As a result of оперативно-розыскных мероприятий, the identities of the suspects were established. All materials collected in connection with the incident were transferred to the district Department of Internal Affairs.

A criminal case has now been opened under Part 3 of Article 202 of the Criminal Code, and preliminary investigative actions are currently underway.
