Specialists from the Bukhara Regional Department of Ecology and Climate Change carried out another рейд aimed at preventing illegal fishing activities.

During the operation conducted at the natural Khadicha Lake in the Karaulbazar district, it was found that citizens identified as J.R., B.R., and I.U. had illegally caught 118 fish without any permits, using a prohibited fishing method—a fishing net. The catch included 47 common carp and 71 Aral roach.
The illegal fishing caused environmental damage estimated at UZS 126,072,000.
As part of the operation, officers seized an inflatable rubber boat, fishing nets, other illegal fishing gear, and the unlawfully caught fish as evidence.
A criminal case has been initiated against the offenders, and enforcement operations are ongoing.
