Uzbekistan participates in international meetings under the Montreal Protocol in Bangkok

The meetings bring together representatives of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol, international organizations, specialized institutions, and experts in ozone layer protection, the regulation of ozone-depleting substances, and the phasedown of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) under the Kigali Amendment.
Uzbekistan's participation in these meetings reflects the country's continued commitment to its international obligations in the fields of environmental protection, ozone layer protection, and climate action. The session provides a platform to discuss key issues related to the implementation of the Montreal Protocol, exchange experiences among countries, strengthen national capacities, enhance reporting practices and further advance international cooperation.
The Republic of Uzbekistan consistently supports global efforts to protect the ozone layer and promote environmentally sound approaches across relevant sectors of the economy. Particular attention is given to fulfilling international commitments, strengthening institutional capacity, raising public awareness and expanding cooperation with international partners.
