Cooperation agreement on forestry development signed with Belarus

The agreement covers a broad range of areas, including sustainable forest management, forest protection against wildfires and pests, forest restoration and mechanization, the analysis, assessment and forecasting of changes in forest conditions, scientific research, capacity building for forestry professionals, the digitalization of the forestry sector and other key areas of cooperation.
Under the agreement, the parties will exchange expertise in the field of forestry, organize joint international events, conduct collaborative scientific research, and strengthen cooperation in the education, training and professional development of specialists.
The signing of this agreement will further enhance cooperation between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Belarus in the field of environmental protection.
