The Minister of Ecology, Aziz Abdukhakimov, shared a welcoming message at the ceremony, emphasizing the growth of youth activity in creating new ideas and projects on ecology, environmental protection, the development of internal and external tourism, and the search for effective solutions to these problems.
"We were very pleased with the initiatives and new ideas of the participants of the rally. Youth projects aimed at preserving biodiversity, reducing environmental damage by waste, developing tree planting technologies, increasing environmental knowledge and culture, and creating more amenities for tourism have made a great impression", said the minister.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, the Committee on Tourism, and the Khokimiyat of Kashkadarya region, was attended by over 1,000 young people from Uzbekistan and other countries. The participants took part in a variety of competitions and showcased their talents.
In particular, in the introductory competition "We are one team — Hi Kurultay!" the 1st place was shared by the teams of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Fergana region, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, and the 3rd place was taken by the team of the Namangan region.
The winners of the "Best Ecological Project" competition were also announced. Abdulhamid Haydarov from Andijan took first place with the project called "Adesert" aimed at combating desertification, creating conditions for flora, saving water, and protecting the environment from garbage. Feruzbek Saidullaev from Tashkent took second place with the project "Batareyka.uz", which aims to properly dispose of batteries and reduce damage to ecosystems by hazardous waste. The third place went to Surayo Sobirova from the Khorezm region, who presented the "Gujum" project, where the idea of planting seedlings suitable for the climate of the Khorezm region, in particular, the cross-planting of "Gujum" and cypresses, was put forward.
In addition, the results of the plogging "For a world without waste" were summed up, in which the 1st place was taken by the team of the Bukhara region, which collected 107.4 kg of garbage, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the Surkhandarya region, which collected 57.8 kg of garbage, and the 3rd place was taken by the team of the Tashkent region for 56.1 kg of garbage. In total, 533 kg of waste was collected during the entire campaign.

1st place — Tashkent city;
2nd place — Fergana region;
3rd place — Kashkadarya region.
Sports competitions:
1st place — Surkhandarya region;
2nd place — Kashkadarya region;
3rd place — Syrdarya region.
"The best tourist project":
1st place — Nigora Orifjonova (Syrdarya region);
2nd place — Zilola Khakimzhonova (Tashkent region);
3rd place — Doloter Durothanov (Republic of Karakalpakstan).
The intellectual game "Zakovat" among foreigners:
1st place — International University of Tourism and Cultural Heritage "Silk Road";
2nd place is the Republic of Tajikistan;
3rd place is the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is worth noting that the annual international gathering has become an important event that brings together young people from all over the country and from abroad to exchange ideas and experiences in the field of ecology and tourism. The participants demonstrated a high level of knowledge, creativity, and enthusiasm aimed at preserving the environment and developing tourism. The gathering became not only a platform for competitions, but also a place where new ideas and projects aimed at building a more sustainable and eco-friendly future were born.
