Procedure for the Use of Trees and Shrubs Outside the State Forest Fund Further Improved

Under the Resolution, the transplantation of trees outside the State Forest Fund with a trunk diameter of up to 15 cm (measured at a height of 1.3 metres above ground level), as well as shrubs with a root collar diameter of up to 10 cm, shall be carried out on the basis of a permit.
In addition, sanitary pruning, formative pruning, and the transplantation of trees and shrubs within the permitted size limits shall be carried out as follows:
– for deciduous and coniferous species, during the autumn period following the end of the growing season and until 1 April of the spring season.
Transplantation shall be carried out while preserving the soil root ball surrounding the root system. A permit for transplantation shall be issued subject to the condition that proper maintenance is ensured for each transplanted tree or shrub for a period of three years.
The adopted Resolution is aimed at further improving the regulatory framework governing the use of trees and shrubs outside the State Forest Fund, as well as the procedures for issuing permits in this area.
