In particular, during the raid conducted by the Arnasai district environmental inspectorate on the territory of the mahalla "Oltin Vodiy", it was established that 2.5 hectares of land freed from grain were set on fire by a citizen, M.A. According to Part 3 of Article 88 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in respect of M.A., who violated the requirements of Articles 4 and 24 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Protection of air", an administrative protocol was drawn up and a fine of 3 BСV – 1 million 20 thousand sums was imposed.
It was also established that damage to nature was caused by 3 million 434 thousand 296 sums. The violator will have to pay a total of 4 million 454 thousand 296 sums.
It is worth noting that when burning stubble on 1 hectare of land, 500 grams of nitrogen oxide, 379 grams of hydrocarbons, 3 kg of ash, 20 kg of carbon dioxide, and carbon monoxide (CO) are released into the atmosphere. In addition, the composition of the soil is disturbed, erosion increases, and fertility decreases. Also, when burning 1 ton of plant residues, 30 kg of carbon monoxide is released into the atmosphere.
For information: currently, events within the framework of the fire safety campaign "Relevant 30 days" are continuing throughout the republic. At the same time, it is forbidden to burn plots of land freed from grain, plant residues, leaves, and branches. Such violations entail liability under the relevant articles of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
