Amir Temur’s Focus on Environmental Sustainability Highlighted

On 9 April, the 690th anniversary of the birth of Sahibkiran Amir Temur was widely commemorated across the country. In Tashkent, a ceremony was held at Amir Temur Alley to honor his memory.

Representatives of the National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change and its affiliated organizations took an active part in the event. Flowers were laid at the foot of the monument to Amir Temur. It was noted that Sahibkiran paid particular attention to environmental stewardship, including the creation of gardens and the sustainable use of natural resources.
As part of the programme, participants also visited the State Museum of the History of the Temurids. During the visit, they were introduced to key aspects of Amir Temur’s legacy, including his constructive initiatives, the gardens he established and his approach to building a strong and effective state.
