On behalf of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the event was attended by the Director of the Research Institute of Environment and Nature Conservation Technologies, Bakhtiyor Pulatov, and the Rector of Green University, Jasur Salikhov.
For information: within the framework of the financial initiative "CLIENT II – International Partnership for Sustainable Innovation", the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) promotes demand-oriented research cooperation with selected developing countries.
Since 2017, CLIENT II has launched 15 joint projects with Central Asia and Mongolia to develop solutions for the climate, environment, and energy sectors that help overcome specific problems in partner countries.
An overview of the project's activities over 8 years was presented at the conference, within the framework of which sustainable urban water resources management, the creation of an eco-platform for Central Asia, and a regional platform for sustainable agriculture in Central Asia and etc. were presented.
