Outside Uzbekistan: Central Asia and Southern Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Iran, North Africa, India and Pakistan. It lives mainly on fixed and semi-fixed sands, clay, and stony-gravelly soils, and enters salt marshes. Hunting for him is prohibited.
The gray monitor lizard was released into the wild on the deserted territory of a forestry enterprise in the Kushtepa district.
According to this fact, a protocol has been drawn up against the offender by Part 1 of Article 92 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
