National Committee on Ecology and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan

The event was organized as part of a joint project of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, the Tashkent city khokimiyat, and the International Public Foundation "Zamin" – "Register of Trees" to improve the competencies and knowledge of specialists for inventory.

During the seminar, presentations by experts in the field, presentations of the inventory methodology, demonstrations and testing of field equipment, and practical instruction on the use of component equipment in Tashkent were organized.

For information: The register of trees will provide an opportunity to obtain detailed information on each tree (number, breed, trunk diameter, condition, etc.) for the subsequent application of penalties, as well as the calculation of compensation for damage caused in cases of illegal logging.
