The facility is being constructed on Obihayot Mahalla Street, which is currently undergoing reconstruction to support 24/7 operation. The project предусматривает the installation of six underground waste containers, each with a capacity of 500 kilograms. To date, three of them have already been completed.
During a visit to the innovative site, Regional Hokim Shavkat Abdurazzokov approved the creative approach and emphasized the need to increase the number of such facilities.
The underground waste storage complex is capable of accumulating up to 3 tons of waste. When the large-capacity containers are filled, a special device automatically sends a signal, after which the waste is transported by specialized vehicles to the appropriate landfill. Similar facilities are also planned for installation in the Yangi Namangan and Davlatabad districts.
