The Kyzyltepa Office of the Department of Ecology of the Navoi region received a message from a resident of the Gumbaz mahalla that a rare animal had made its way into his house.

Upon arriving at the site, state inspectors determined that the rare animal is a dressing, listed in the IUCN Red List and the Red Book of Uzbekistan as a vulnerable and declining species.
For information: Marbled polecat is a species of mammals from the mustelid subfamily, common in the Kyzylkum desert, on the Ustyurt plateau, in the Mirzachol and Karshi steppes, foothills and upper belts of the Western Tien Shan and Pamir-Alai mountains, the lowland part of Surkhandarya. The approximate number of this population in Uzbekistan is about 5 thousand individuals.
As a result, after examining the animal's health, the dressing was released into the wild.
