For information: according to the "Regulation on the procedure for the formation and financing of Meningbogim projects, developed based on public opinion," approved by Resolution of Cabinet of Ministers No. 156 dated March 26, 2024, at least 50% of the funds allocated annually from the State Budget for the national "Yashil Makon" project are directed to financing "Mening bog'im" projects to create "green gardens" and "green public parks" based on public opinion through the Open Budget information portal.
A total of 52 billion sums will be allocated for the implementation of the project this year. The funds will be distributed to 208 districts and cities in equal shares, in the amount of at least 250 million sums.
A working group consisting of district (city) khokimiyats and regional divisions of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change will select the received projects according to the established criteria from June 20 to 23 and submit them to the next stage of voting. Further, from June 23 to July 3, 2024, citizens will be able to vote for the best projects on the "Open Budget" portal.
The projects with the highest number of votes will be funded based on the address list.
