Favourable Conditions Being Created for Wildlife in the Ugam–Chatkal National Park and the Chatkal Biosphere Reserve

Specifically, in the Burchmulla–Alyam sector, artificial feeding grounds have been set up at the Kulma, Via, Tokzor, and Kurumzor sites, along the Koksu River, as well as in the Kuriksoy and Kulobsoy–Makarsay areas (Kulobsoy site). A total of 60 kilograms of salt, 200 kilograms of bran, and 600 kilograms of hay (alfalfa) have been placed at these locations.
In addition, in the Ozodbosh–Khumsan sector of the park, feeding materials have been placed in dry areas between large boulders and at the bases of trees at the Mramorsoy, Kamovsoy, and Uchbulok sites. These include 125 kilograms of salt, 180 kilograms of barley, 200 kilograms of bran, and 400 kilograms of natural hay.
Similar measures have also been carried out in the Sargardon sector, within the Khudoydod and Khazanak areas. In locations convenient for wildlife, a total of 125 kilograms of salt, 180 kilograms of barley, 160 kilograms of bran, and 40 bales (550 kilograms) of natural hay have been distributed.
Biotechnical measures are likewise being implemented in the Chatkal State Biosphere Reserve. As part of the current stage of activities, artificial feeding sites have been established, where 80 kilograms of barley, 100 kilograms of hay, and 50 kilograms of salt have been placed in designated locations for animals.
