During the event, special attention was given to the theme of nature in the works of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur. In particular, Erkin Mukhiddinov, Head of the Forestry Agency, noted that we have inherited a priceless spiritual legacy from our ancestors. Doctor of Philology and Professor Nurboy Jabborov emphasized that the works of these great thinkers address issues that resonate with contemporary processes of globalization. Shukhrat Orif, a member of the Writers’ Union and a poet, also spoke about the theme of nature in the writings of Navoi and Babur.
Alisher Navoi portrayed nature not merely as a landscape, but as a gift of the Creator and an integral part of the human spiritual world. In his understanding, environmental protection was one of the moral obligations of a virtuous and complete individual. In his work “Khamsa”, the garden serves as a symbol of purity and beauty, and its preservation is equated with safeguarding the human soul.
Babur, for his part, described nature with remarkable precision, realism, and deep affection. As a ruler, he established gardens and waterworks as a poet, he expressed regret over the destruction of the natural environment and warned of the grave consequences of harming nature. Babur regarded living in harmony with nature as an essential element of statehood.
As part of the event, selected works by Navoi and Babur were recited, and musical compositions and songs were performed.
