Illegal Extraction of Soil and Sand–Gravel Mixture Detected

During the raid, inspectors established that a resident of Chinaz had been extracting soil at an unauthorized location using a "KamAZ" truck, in violation of the requirements of the Law “On Protected Natural Areas.”
An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender under Part 1, Article 82 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility and a fine equivalent to ten times the basic calculation unit was imposed.
In addition, the Tashkent Regional Department of Ecology and Climate Change also carried out further inspection activities. During a raid in the "Nurafshon" mahalla of the Yukorichirchik District, it was identified that a citizen, N.O., had illegally extracted a sand–gravel mixture.
An administrative protocol was prepared against the offender under Part 1, Article 70 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility. The environmental damage was assessed at 38,913,990 sums. For legal evaluation and appropriate measures, the case materials have been forwarded to the Yukorichirchik District Criminal Court.
Inspection and enforcement activities are ongoing.
