In particular, during a joint inspection conducted with the Ecology Department of Khiva District and the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, it was established that a citizen, A.K., illegally cut down four trees of various low-value species in the territory of the “Gandimen” mahalla.

An administrative protocol was drawn up against the offender under Part 1 of Article 79 of the Code of Administrative Liability. A fine of 25 times the basic calculation value (10,300,000 sums) was imposed, and it was determined that the environmental damage amounted to 9,888,000 sums. Both the fine and the compensation for the damage are to be recovered from the offender.

Additionally, during an inspection conducted by the Ecology Department of Koskupyur District, it was found that a resident of the Yoshlik mahalla, citizen Sh.J., uprooted nine elaeagnus trees. An administrative protocol was also drawn up against him under Part 1 of Article 79 of the Code of Administrative Liability. He was fined 10,300,000 sums and the environmental damage was assessed at 44,496,000 sums.
