The draft law provides for support of the practice of releasing wild animals bred in nurseries into hunting grounds, as well as permitting hunting based on such animals. This approach makes it possible to replenish wild fauna populations while hunting activities are carried out.
In addition, the draft law stipulates that hunting may be conducted exclusively in hunting grounds officially assigned to hunting enterprises. This measure is intended to strengthen oversight of hunting activities and contribute to the reproduction of wild animals and the conservation of natural resources. The draft law also предусматривает the introduction of a unified system for hunting planning, including the designation of permitted areas and hunting seasons.
During the discussion, deputies noted that the draft law would contribute to the protection of wildlife, the rational use of natural resources, the improvement of hunting culture and the sustainable development of the sector. They also put forward proposals and recommendations for further refinement of the document.
As a result of the session, the draft law was adopted by deputies at its first reading.
