Eco education: Environmental education is conducted with school students

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change J. Kazbekov, Deputy Minister of Preschool and School Education F. Bokiev, Nestle management companies Gedekli Ilaida and Olga Manyakina, Chairman of the Movement of Young Environmentalists in Tashkent, U. Yokubjonov, head of the public organization "Indigo" P. Volkov, director of the 31st general education school S. Semmari, students of the school, and young eco-activists.
"Biological diversity is important not only in our country but worldwide. Conservation of natural resources is one of our top priorities as a guarantee of ecosystem sustainability. Of course, young people play a big role in this. Today, much attention is being paid to further improving environmental awareness, culture, and responsibility among the younger generation, educating young people to love nature", said J. Kazbekov.
J. Kazbekov also urged young people not to be indifferent to nature, to improve their knowledge and skills in ecology, and not to harm plants and animals.
At the event, held under the slogan "We will be a part of our planet!", walnut, acacia, and walnut tree seeds were planted in a specially prepared device. The students were given the necessary knowledge about growing and caring for seedlings. In addition, it was noted that within the framework of the republican project "Yashil Makon", work is underway to create green areas in schools. There was also a presentation on the main tasks to be solved in the field of waste recycling and reducing environmental damage by waste.
As part of the event, an Eco-Zakovat game was organized among schoolchildren. The intellectual debate was attended by 4 teams that tested their environmental knowledge. As a result, the victory was won by the team "Young Environmentalists".
