During the raid, the fact of illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixture by citizens of B.R. and K.S. on the right bank of the Chirchik River flowing through the territory of the “Rasulabad” mahalla was established.
According to this fact, an administrative protocol has been drawn up in relation to the offenders under Part 1 of Article 70-1 of the AC. Each of the offenders was fined in the amount of 30 BCV - 10 million, 200 thousand sums.
For information: according to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 14 dated January 17, 2024, "On measures to streamline the extraction of non-metallic materials in reservoirs", an indefinite moratorium on the extraction of sand and gravel in the beds of the Chirchik, Sanzar, Zarafshan, Naryn, Kashkadarya, Surkhandarya, and Syrdarya rivers has been introduced since May 1. During the period of the moratorium, the amount of compensation for damage caused to nature as a result of the illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixtures increases 10 times.
The Ministry of Ecology and its regional divisions conduct regular raids to combat illegal extraction of sand and gravel mixtures. Any violation in this direction will be severely punished!
